I’m still not entirely sure that this isn’t a sick joke.

My sister’s boyfriend of five years was killed last night in a motorcycle accident. I’m here with her in Atlanta.

MH is putting something together about it on his blog. I’m trying to put my baby sister back together.

I’m so sorry. I woke up to so many of my friends having lost loved ones over the weekend, and my heart feels heavy for each and every one of them. I wish I could be there to hug and help and just hold those as they grieve. I’m sorry you and your family are hurting.

Just a thought Cat – Perhaps this situation is the answer to your universe question? While a horrible thing to happen I often find that once the worst is over things like this give me a renewed vigor for life and love – reminds me that I am only promised today and that I should make the most of this day.

I’m thinking of you and your sister all the time. I hope you can check in again soon. I think I’ll send you a tweet just to let you know since you may not be reading here in all the whirl of activity that is doubtless happening around you now.
